Job Summary

One of the most iconic fine watches houses worldwide is seeking a private sales manager to drive sales with VIP clientele and manage a small show room based in Central London.

  • Deliver exceptional sales performance
  • Implement and manage the GSD's directive on maximising the brands visibility and presence with clients and footfall
  • Create and implement individual and store sales plan to drive and realise sales objectives, produce sales reports
  • Think tactically and strategically to implement the retail business plan as directed
  • Monitor individual and store KPI's to ensure excellent productivity and performance metrics and optimise any opportunities within the department trading platform
  • Define customer service standards to increase sales performance, maximise market share, and offer a consistent luxury customer experience
  • Help develop and maximise the team to ensure a top functioning business unit
  • Lead, motivate and inspire the team and promote a positive work environment to ensure the team is maximising opportunities and increasing sales
  • Regularly listen to and solicit feedback, encourage dialogue and support new ideas to inspire team creativity
  • Be a Brand Ambassador at all times
  • Maintain the highest in-store standards including merchandising, visual display and security
  • Liaise with the CRM team on all client communications, written and verbal, ensuring appropriate tone and content The Candidate
  • Ability to accelerate the concession to meet sales expectations
  • To further strengthen the relationship with local partners and most importantly to keep building relations with the Private Service Suite

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven and visible track record of driving sales to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans
  •  Justified competency in identifying and developing new opportunities to grow customer base and increase loyalty, while ensuring brand awareness
  • Be a keen networker
  • Proven team and individual leadership skills
  • Demonstrated capability to identify, acquire and develop high-performing team members
  • Exceptional retail experience in delivering a meticulous client and selling experience in a luxury retail environment
  • Ability to convert browsers into clients and the strong ability to inspire trust, integrity and professionalism with clients
  •  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and being able to perform under pressure
  • Being able to keep clear sight of goals, targets and the strategic agenda bestowed upon the


  • Past professional experience in running all day to day retail operations for a retail business unit
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Point of Sales (POS) system)
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Confirmed ability and desire to work in a low footfall, changing environment


  • The Package Salary up to £65,000, depending on experience
